Winemaking notes
Grapes are harvested early in the morning to preserve freshness. Viognier and Roussanne are pressed together, followed by a few hours of settling before fermentation begins. Regular stirring (bâtonnage) enriches the wine and develops its aromatic palette. Aged in previously used oak barrels to preserve the purity and finesse of the terroir.
Viticultural notes
60% Viognier, 20% Marsanne, 20% Roussanne, grown on steep south-facing slopes at Domaine de Bréseyme, at the confluence of the Rhône and Drôme rivers. Clay-limestone soils impart freshness, structure and depth. The Perrin family has farmed this terroir since 2017, with the utmost respect for the environment and biodiversity.
Tasting notes
Brilliant, limpid golden yellow with intense highlights. The nose is particularly expressive: a rich bouquet of white-flesh fruits, pear and white flowers such as honeysuckle, paired with notes of toasted bread and vanilla. Round and full-bodied, the palate mirrors this indulgence with pastry notes, peach and almond milk, beautifully balanced by the minerality of this very elegant wine.
Pairing notes
Serve at 14 °C. A natural match for trout with toasted almonds and lemon butter, cream-based fish dishes, roast poultry and a cheese board. A confidential and distinctive white wine well worth discovering.
