Winemaking notes
Partially aged in French oak barrels. Carbonic maceration for Carignan and 50 to 70-year-old vines.
Viticultural notes
The alternation between hard limestone and marl banks has encouraged erosion to form plateaus sloping towards the sea. These are covered by a stony red soil known as terra rosa. The presence of a thin layer of pebbles embedded in a matrix of siliceous silts completes the picture, offering a palette of highly diversified terroirs, favoring the varied and typical expressions of the grape varieties.
Tasting notes
Finely oaked, with a deep amaranth color, this blend reveals a complex, flattering nose with notes of garrigue, cinnamon, pepper, licorice and a hint of vanilla. The palate is ample, full and unctuous, with fine tannins.
