Domaine Terras Gauda—“Les Terres du Bonheur”—was founded in 1990 by the Fonseca family in the most southern region of Rías Baixas, O Rosal. Considered to be one of the most emblematic estates in Rías Baixas, Terras Gauda consistently produces award-winning white wines, made exclusively with grapes grown on the property.

Caiño Blanco

Although it makes up only 20% of the blend, the native variety known as Caiño Blanco, which is almost exclusively cultivated at Terras Gauda, adds a touch of richness to the wine. The result: a wine with an irresistible, robust, and acidic length.

Located next to the Minho river estuary, which acts as a natural border with Portugal, the plots come from old river terraces. The metamorphic schist they’re made up of lends our wines unique mineral notes.
