THE HISTORYTHE WINERIES

Founded in 1879 by Ioannis Boutaris, in Naoussa, Northern Greece we established our winery in 1906. There the first Greek red bottled wine, "Naoussa Boutari", was produced and still is, to this day, by the fifth generation of the Boutari family.

THE WINERIES

Our wineries, in the country’s most important regions, allow us to explore the potential of varieties and terroirs. Naoussa and Goumenissa in Macedonia, Mantinia in Peloponnesus, Crete, Santorini, and in cooperation with the Matsa Estate in Attica.

Apart from our worldwide successful classics, we constantly experiment with different varieties and vinification techniques and launching limited production wines. The best results with the best reception are incorporated in our product portfolio
