Since 1630, the Chatelain family has worked the soil of Pouilly sur Loire day after day. There are today, in the vintages of the Chatelain domain, all the knowledge and work of a winemaker, as well as the legacy, passed down from generation to generation, of the love for winemaking.

Vincent Chatelain took over the family estate in 1998. He now runs 30 hectares of vines. He finds inspiration in family tradition, all while using more modern techniques that respect the environment.

Domaine Chatelain exploits vines on various types of soil: clay-limestone, limestone, and flint. We are lucky to be able to offer our clients a full range of Pouilly-Fumé wines.

Appellation

The Pouilly-Fumé appellation is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, which is a variety that grows easily in the Centre Loire region. It develops a charming palette of rich and complex aromas.
