Nectarosity

A blend of malt and grain whiskies from Linkwood, Clynelish and Balmenach distilleries (malts) and Cameronbridge and Girvan (grains). Nectarosity's signature lies in its double use of custom virgin American oak casks: first to impart sweet spice to grain spirit, then to age malt whisky. The recipe also incorporates first-fill bourbon barrels and a Palo Cortado sherry-seasoned butt. Bottled at 46% ABV, natural colour, not chill-filtered.

Zesty and generous on the nose: honey, poached pear, nectarine and lychee bloom brilliantly. The palate is juicy and exuberant, with juicy apricot and fresh pineapple taking centre stage. Toffee, vanilla and butterscotch sauce follow through to a long, indulgent finish of cinnamon bun — a true pâtisserie in a glass.

Pour into a large whisky glass, neat or over a single ice cube. Outstanding in classic cocktails or paired with a dry pilsner to create a soft centre of fruity caramel notes. Perfect as an aperitif or alongside fruit desserts and pastries.
