Winemaking notes
Fermentation takes place in steel tanks with a 10-day maceration on the skins. A gentle shower system is used to wet the cap, preserving the grape’s aromatic finesse, at a controlled temperature between 32°C and 28°C. Malolactic fermentation follows in steel, with refinement for at least 12 months in steel, wood, and bottle.
Viticultural notes
The grapes come from bluish-grey calcareous-clay marl soils of Barbaresco and sandy soils of the Roero vineyards. Trained in Guyot, the vines undergo manual harvesting, preceded by summer thinning to limit yields. This combination of terroir and careful vineyard management ensures grapes of outstanding balance and character.
Tasting notes
The wine shows a brilliant garnet red color. On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of violet, fresh red fruits, and subtle spices, highlighting the Nebbiolo’s elegance. The palate is harmonious and well-structured, with fine, silky tannins and a rounded, lingering finish that enhances its finesse.
Pairing notes
Best enjoyed at 17–18°C, this Nebbiolo pairs beautifully with ragù pasta, roast turkey, or medium-aged cheeses. Available in 0.75 l and 1.5 l bottles, it is sealed with a natural cork closure to ensure proper evolution and preservation over time.
