Winemaking notes
Traditional winemaking with skin maceration to extract colour, tannins and aromatics. Partial ageing in stainless steel vats and oak barrels to preserve fresh fruitiness while adding gentle structure.
Viticultural notes
100% Morellino (Sangiovese) grown under certified organic farming on the hills of the Maremma Toscana, Grosseto. Val delle Rose, part of the Casa Vinicola Cecchi family, benefits from clay-limestone soils, abundant sunshine and the cooling influence of the Tyrrhenian Sea, which tempers summer heat and preserves the grape's natural acidity through cool nights.
Tasting notes
Bright red with vivid purple highlights. The nose is fruity and expressive: intense morello cherry, black cherry, plum and floral violet notes, all typical of the Morellino variety, with a subtle touch of sweet spice. The palate is round and savoury, with supple, well-integrated tannins. The finish is fresh, fruit-driven and pleasantly lingering — a generous, immediately appealing wine.
Pairing notes
Serve between 16–18 °C. A versatile and crowd-pleasing match for grilled red meats, pasta al ragù, pizza, Italian charcuterie, semi-hard cheeses and seasonal dishes. Best enjoyed within 3 to 5 years to fully appreciate its vibrant fruit character.
