Winemaking notes
Traditional vinification with temperature control at 26°C. The fermentation and maceration process lasts about 15 days. Afterwards, the wine is aged in barrels for 12 months, followed by a minimum of 8 months in the bottle.
Viticultural notes
Located at 150 meters above sea level, the soils are composed of quartz sandstone, mostly siliceous. The sun exposure of the vines is well balanced with the breeze that the ocean brings. The grape harvests are done in mid-October.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red in color, Sangiovese offers notes of ripe, fleshy fruit in the wine. Its bouquet is also enhanced by tropical fruits. The wine is well structured and then full-bodied.
Pairing notes
Serve with roasted and grilled meats as well as game.
