Winemaking notes
Produced from select grape varieties, less "representative" of the Douro region, which are sourced from old vineyards at our wine estates and those belonging to winemakers with whom we have collaborated for years. After destemming, the grapes are transferred to stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation. A long and gentle maturation ensues, the aim being to extract the compounds that give this wine its colour, aroma and flavour.
Viticultural notes
Light ruby color. Austere yet complex aroma, with notes of red fruits, hints of white fruits such as annona, floral nuances, a touch of balsamic, stony minerality, and discreet oak. On the palate, it opens softly, with firm tannins, vibrant acidity, balsamic undertones and red fruit flavors, leading to a very elegant finish.

Pairing notes
It may form sediment after 2 years and should therefore be decanted. Recommended temperature: 16ºC to 18ºC. Drink within 24 hours of opening. Pairs wonderfully with meat dishes, game and cheeses.
