Mega Spileo Estate Syrah

After harvesting, grapes are pressed and remain in tanks until fermentation is completed. The wine is then transferred to the cellar for maturation in new French oak barrels. It remains in the barrels for at least 2 years. This is followed by bottling and maturing in the bottles for at least another 2 years. To preserve its flavour, the wine does not undergo stabilisation and filtering. Suitable for extensive ageing.

Deep ruby with blue hues. Prominent notes of black pepper, black berries and dried flowers mingle with hints of leather and smokiness. Full-bodied mouth, well-rounded with elegant tannins. The after-taste is long and pleasant.

Dishes based on red meats, BBQ as well as matured, spicy cheeses.
