Winemaking notes
Hand-harvested in crates, rigorously sorted. Pneumatic pressing followed by careful settling. Fermentation takes place partly in French oak barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks. The wine rests for 8 months before blending and bottling, without cold stabilisation a precise approach that reveals the full finesse and elegance of this great white Rhône wine. Certified organic and biodynamic farming.
Viticultural notes
Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne and Bourboulenc from the 3 hectares of white varieties at Coudoulet de Beaucastel, AOC Côtes du Rhône. Miocene marine molasse soils topped with alpine rolled galets, immediately east of the Beaucastel estate. The 2024 vintage, shaped by a wet spring and moderate summer, favoured outstanding aromatic ripeness and natural freshness.
Tasting notes
Luminous gold with green highlights. The nose is refined and expressive: fresh citrus, white flowers and rose petals unfold with elegance. The palate is taut and beautifully balanced, with vibrant freshness and a delicate saline touch. The Marsanne's natural richness extends through a long, textured finish, adding depth and structure. A white of great finesse, typical of Coudoulet's finest vintages.
Pairing notes
Serve between 12–14 °C. A natural match for noble fish, shellfish, cream-based poultry and soft-rind cheeses. A great white wine to enjoy now or cellar for 6 to 8 years.
