Winemaking notes
Late harvest to preserve concentration and ripeness. Strict selection in vineyard for finest bunches. Total destemming followed by 12-hour maceration. Slow pressing to preserve quality. Fermentation and aging 80% in new oak with bi-weekly stirring. 8-9 months aging before bottling.
Viticultural notes
Argilo-limestone terroir with optimal natural conditions. Traditional Vic-Bilh varieties: 70% Petit Manseng, 20% Gros Manseng, 10% Petit Courbu. Planting density 5,200 vines/ha. Hand-harvested for selective picking. Vineyards located in Maumusson, Gers.
Tasting notes
Bright pale straw color with sustained clarity. Floral, vanilla-scented nose with mango, toasted bread and tropical fruit (pineapple) notes with white flower hints. Rich, complex, full-bodied palate with excellent aromatic expression. Long, persistent finish inviting further exploration. Refined gastronomy wine.
Pairing notes
Serve chilled at 8-10°C. Ideally drink within 1-5 years after bottling, though its fine structure allows longer cellaring. Pairs beautifully with shellfish, truffle poultry, refined cheeses and gourmet dishes.
