Winemaking notes
Manual harvest, it fermented with selected neutral yeasts in small open vats and matured 70% in French oak barrels and 30% in oak casks for 14 months.
Viticultural notes
Was produced from grapes grown in San Antonio and only 15% from their oldest Pinot vines planted in 1989 on their Fundo El Triángulo estate in Casablanca, which was once the exclusive source of this wine.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red color. Intense aromas of red berries and plums with elegant notes of leather. On the palate, the wine presents itself advantageously with a concentration of small red fruits and a silky texture. The finish is long, supple and delicious. International Wine Challenge, 2019: Bronze International Wine & Spirit Competition, 2018: Silver International Wine Challenge, 2018: Gold, Gold_Points_95
Pairing notes
Red meats, poultry and aged cheeses.
