Winemaking notes
All grapes are carefully harvested by hand, after a meticulous selection of the grapes, fermentation was carried out under strict temperature control to fully express the variety’s aromatic potential. The wine was aged for 14 months, with 70% in French oak barrels and 30% in large oak vats, bringing complexity, depth, and refined texture.
Viticultural notes
From the Fundo Juan de Huinca, located in the Gaviotas sector of the San Antonio Valley (Chile), this Pinot Noir comes from coastal parcels rooted in red clay and granite soils that provide excellent drainage. The mild climate, with cool nights and morning fog, allows for slow and balanced ripening of the fruit.
Tasting notes
The bouquet shows great aromatic intensity, revealing cherry, raspberry, and blackberry, lifted by gentle spice and a subtle touch of tobacco. The palate is silky and elegant, with fine concentration and vibrant acidity that provide balance and length. The finish is long, refined, and gracefully persistent.
Pairing notes
Serve at 16–18 °C, ideally after 30 minutes of aeration to allow the full complexity of aromas to unfold. Pairs beautifully with roasted duck breast, grilled tuna, delicate red meats, and aged cheeses.
