Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

The hand picked grapes come from the single vineyard of El Recurso Estate (Block 18) in the Maipo Valley. After fermentation, the wine spends 20 percent in stainless steel tanks with 80 percent in barrels for a combination of twelve months.

A Mediterranean climate that creates slightly lower temperatures than the rest of the Maipo valley, Block 18 comes from the El Recurso Esate. Alluvial and gravel soils. Very dry summers, there is an endless potential for Cabernet Sauvignon vines here.

An impressive color and intense aromatics from this wine. Red fruits, plum with hints of ash and tobacco. Tannins are full and persistent with a smooth concentration.

Pair this wine with braised pork shanks, lamb, barbecued ribs and hard cheeses.
