Winemaking notes
Late harvested Malbec grapes from selected vineyards are carefully sorted and gently crushed for slow extraction. Fermented for 20 days and then aged in oak for 6 months under the watchful eye of experienced Chief Winemaker Stephen Mcewen; Australian-born winemaker with over 15 years' of experience behind him.
Viticultural notes
Sourced from Malbec grapes grown in the heart of the Argentine Andes range by Andean Vineyards. The winery represents the synthesis of Argentinean viticulture sourcing from site-selected, high altitude vineyards from the best sub regions.
Tasting notes
This deep, vibrant Malbec has an intense nose of plum and dark chocolate. Spicy, juicy and richly layered with well integrated oak and fine-grained tannins. Ideal with rich cheeses, spiced dishes and of course, juicy steaks.
