Winemaking notes
AOP Muscadet Sèvre et Maine. Pressing in a pneumatic press and selection of musts. Cold settling. Fermentation with natural yeasts. Aged six to nine months on lees, in underground vats, with regular stirring of lees.
Viticultural notes
Close to where the rivers Sèvre and Maine join, in the geographical and historical heart of the Muscadet appellation, lies our vineyard of L’Aulnaye. 100% Melon de Bourgogne grown on Gneiss.
Tasting notes
On a superb east-facing slope, the Melon vines dig into the rock, bringing a saline freshness, minerality and intensely fruity notes to this wine.
Pairing notes
Ideal as an aperitif, or with grilled sardines or seafood.
