Porto Dona Antonia Tawny Reserve

The grapes are fermented with maceration allowing the extraction of the best components from the skins. Addition of wine alcohol. The selected wines are aged in oak barrels for several years. The wines selected for the final blend are generally between 4 and 12 years old to ensure an average age of 7 years.

Of a beautiful red color, with intense tawny reflections. The aromas are intense and rich with notes of ripe fruit (plum, apricot and marmalade) as well as floral notes. Complex, the spices and nutty notes come from aging in oak and oxidation. On the palate, the body is structured and the flavors very intense. It is very well balanced, it combines elegance and delicacy while having a lingering finish.

Very versatile, it is excellent served on its own but can accompany certain starters and desserts, as well as cheeses.
