Winemaking notes

After sampling from the vast range of casks at GlenAllachie, Master Distiller Billy Walker was keen to showcase GlenAllachie bottled at natural strength. We are delighted to introduce the GlenAllachie 10 year old Cask Strength Batch 5, which has a small twist in the inclusion of a small amount of Rioja wine casks.

Viticultural notes

Batch 5 is bottled at 55.9%, non chill filtered and natural colour.

Tasting notes

Dark chocolate, vanilla pods and treacle, with rich notes of orange peel and cinnamon. Lashings of raisins, treacle, dark chocolate, layers of heather honey, cinnamon and orange peel.
