Winemaking notes

Made in 1961 at Mortlach distillery, this Speyside single malt was matured in a single first-fill sherry hogshead for more than half a century, before being bottled in March 2019 for Gordon & MacPhail's Private Collection.

Tasting notes

Beautiful aromas of fresh orange groves transforming into velvety chocolate truffles filed with sherry. Fresh, sweet honeysuckle tones add depth to chocolate orange.
