Winemaking notes
100% Sauvignon Blanc from clay-limestone soils of the Loire Valley. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the full freshness and aromatic vibrancy of the variety. No oak ageing a clean, precise vinification that keeps the fruit front and centre, revealing the pure and direct expression of Sauvignon Blanc as interpreted by Henri Bourgeois.
Viticultural notes
Grown on clay-limestone soils in the IGP Val de Loire appellation. This wine captures the aromatic DNA of the Henri Bourgeois house a multi-generational pioneer of Sauvignon Blanc in Sancerre in an accessible, direct and immediately appealing style. The ideal introduction to the world of the Bourgeois family.
Tasting notes
Remarkably aromatic, with pleasant notes of flowers and fruit reminiscent of vine blossom and the hallmark Sauvignon character. On the palate, it reveals freshness and vivacity characteristic of grapes harvested at optimal ripeness. A lively and brilliant wine. The finish is clean, mouth-watering and aromatically persistent.
Pairing notes
Serve between 10–12 °C. Outstanding as an aperitif, and equally at home alongside fish, seafood and certain white meats. Also pairs beautifully with fresh goat cheeses, summer salads and fish tartare.
