Viticultural notes
Bossi Fedrigotti is one of Masi's recently acquired estates; located in Trentino, it is one of the most historic wineries. In 1961, Federico created the first Bordeaux blend ever made in Italy, creating the “Fojaneghe” label. After so many vintages, this Vigneti delle Dolomiti Rosso IGT continues to enjoy success, as evidenced by the three glasses awarded by the Gambero Rosso guide.
Tasting notes
In the glass, it has a garnet-red color. The olfactory spectrum revolves around fruity and spicy notes, in which wild berries and vanilla stand out. On the palate, it is full-bodied, round, rich and enveloping. The finish is resolutely persistent.
Pairing notes
It is the ideal accompaniment to main courses of red meat and game. It can also be tried with mature hard cheeses and is at its best with a succulent Florentine steak. Perfect for a dinner party with friends.
