Winemaking notes
A wine with surprising structure and complexity, unusual for its body, colour and tannicity. Its original nature comes from the use of Oseleta, a grape with extraordinary power that is a jewel of our territory: an ancient Veronese variety rediscovered and replanted by Masi in the 1980s.
Viticultural notes
Selected hillside vineyards, chosen for suitability to this variety. Mostly alluvial and stony soil.
Tasting notes
- Look viscous texture with deep, dark opaque red colour. - Nose clean and complex with hints of blueberries, blackberries and fresh-cut greenery - Palate strong tannins in a strong wine, well-balanced with good acidity. Long finish.
Pairing notes
Big wine with structure and complexity suitable to go with red meat, game and strong cheeses.
