Avalon California Zinfandel

Established in 2001 in bucolic western Sonoma County, Avalon offers approachable, delicious wines of unmatched quality. Thoughtful vineyard selection from California’s top winegrowing regions combined with intuitive winemaking methods assure that Avalon wines are beautifully balanced and effortlessly enjoyable.

Crafted from Zinfandel fruit sourced throughout Northern and Central California, our grapes were picked during the cool night and early morning hours and delivered immediately to the winery to be de-stemmed and gently pressed into fermentation tanks. After seven to nine days of fermentation, the wine was gently racked into a combination of European and American oak for malolactic fermentation and aging.

Dark berry and spicy notes entice the nose, while ripe plum, blackberry and a touch of blueberry flavors entertain the taste buds. Juicy and structured, Avalon Zinfandel is well balanced and has a long, velvety finish.
