Sparkling Rose

Located in Salon de Provence, Rivarose has made sparkling rosé in the region since 1909. With almost 240,000 acres under vine, nearly half of the region’s production is rosé. Today, Rivarose Sparkling Brut Rosé is the first and the only IGP Méditerranée sparkling rosé available in the U.S. A gold-gilded round label adorns the bottle, which is in the traditional bowling pin shape patented by Provence winemakers in the 1920’s.

The grapes are carefully harvested at night time in order to retain maximum freshness. This wine is made from a subtle blend of Syrah, which lends the wine its vibrant red fruit aromas, and Grenache to give it its aromatic intensity. Upon reception of the harvest, skin maceration is carried out followed by pressing in order to extract the maximum aromatic intensity from the fruit. After 24 hours, the juices are settled and fermentation takes place at 14 to 18°C. It is then left to age in our cellars for many months in order for its delicate sparkle to develop.
