Winemaking notes
Vinification in stainless steel tanks with prolonged maceration. Aged in French (90%) and American (10%) oak barrels.
Viticultural notes
The majority of the soil is composed of shale. The latter has the ability to store the heat of the day and redistribute it throughout the night. This reduces temperature differences and contributes to the good ripening of the grapes. The soils are low in organic content and phosphorus, moderately rich in potassium and acid, their texture is sandy and loamy and they contain a large amount of large elements.
Tasting notes
It has a bright clarity with greenish hints. Its bouquet is intense and finely complex, with a prevalence of white fruits such as pear and melon, slight citrus and mineral notes, as well as a discreet and well integrated touch of oak. On the palate this wine has fine volume, a lively acidity that provides it with a minerality freshness, with white fruits again in evidence, and balanced, integrated oak. Its finish is long and complex.
Pairing notes
To be enjoyed with red meat or large game. It will also make a great match at the end of a meal with strong cheese.
