400 years of history … and a unique situation Château de Parenchère, whose foundations were laid in 1570 by Pierre de Parenchières, is situated 38 kms from Saint-Emilion, at the easternmost reaches of the Bordeaux region, bordering the Dordogne department. The estate consists of 180 unbroken hectares, including 70 hectares of vines planted on the best plots of the estate and always on slopes.

A distinctive Terroir

On those chalky-clay soils, Parenchère produces wines renowned for their strength and longevity. The philosophy of the Château is to favour fruit and finesse in its vinifications without compromising fullness and body.
