Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha

Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha is owned by Maria de Lourdes Mendes Oliva Nunes Osório, belongs to the family since the 18th Century and and is in the Dão region, near the hight mountains of Portugal, Serra da Estrela. The 55 hectares of vineyards, planted on granitic soils, are deeply rooted, and attached to the land and lives of people who lived there. They illustrate the longstanding tradition that lives in the Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha.

Our indigenous grapes

For red wines, we have Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Rori... For white wines, we chose Encruzado and Malvasia Fina. They aim to create wines that stand out for their authenticity from older times, seeking to combine tradition with innovation.

Awarded wines

Our history

The name comes from the existence of a Roman bridge on the property, being one of the oldest wine houses in the Dão region and dates to the times when the vineyards were worked by the famous ox carts.
