Bideona Mayela 2021

This is our Cosechero 2.0 project: a young, juicy, versatile and non-woody red wine that is a contemporary reinterpretation of the Rioja Alavesa producer/cosechero tradition. Nota bene: 6 bottles featuring the winemakers (6 different portraits)

We produce this wine from magnificent vines averaging 25 years old, on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria.

Pure, intense primary aromas of dark cherry and black berry with a hint of violet and clove. Medium-bodied, with remarkable complexity and concentration of fruit. The fruit is intense and balanced, enhanced by fresh acidity and chiseled, chalky tannins. Long, mineral finish.

Goes well with grilled meats, hard cheeses, tapas, pizza, pasta!
