Blanc de Blancs Conca del Riu Anoia 2023

Sparkling wine produced from the historic Vinya del Llac vineyard, planted over 40 years ago. The blend is composed of three native white varieties (Macabeu, Xarel·lo, Parellada) together with 5% Malvasia de Sitges, a traditional grape of the estate recently reintroduced. This variety contributes natural acidity, volume and greater aromatic complexity.

Sourced from vineyards planted on clay soils with limestone subsoil and pebbles, north-facing and influenced by the proximity of a lake that moderates temperatures and promotes slow ripening. The 2023 vintage was marked by extreme drought, with only 232 mm of rainfall compared to the usual 500 mm, and higher-than-average temperatures. Yields were reduced by 40–60%, but fruit quality and concentration remained high.

The wine shows a structured, fresh and complex style, faithfully reflecting its origin. The addition of Malvasia de Sitges enhances tension and aromatic richness, resulting in a sparkling wine balanced between energy and depth.

Serve chilled, pairs perfectly with tapas at the start of a meal or as an aperitif.
