Winemaking notes

The Dram Takers draws its timeless artistry from a fabled manuscript – The Book of Kells - penned in Latin in the ninth century. The distinctive illustrative style has inspired our design of two ‘dram takers’ raising a glass – an ancient gesture of unity and ritual.

Tasting notes

Rich honey combines with melon and passion fruit. Poached pear and flambeed banana leads to candied lemon and aniseed with mature oak. Smooth tobacco gives way to apricot and light pepper. Stone fruit comes to the fore alongside a touch of menthol. FINISH: Full with hints of BONFIRE EMBERS and lingering TROPICAL FRUIT.
