Winemaking notes

The Dram Takers draws its timeless artistry from a fabled manuscript – The Book of Kells - penned in Latin in the ninth century. The distinctive illustrative style has inspired our design of two ‘dram takers’ raising a glass – an ancient gesture of unity and ritual.

Tasting notes

Blueberry and ripe red apple complement sultanas. Toasted hazelnuts lead to citrus zest and toffee. Strawberry liquorice and stewed plums are balanced by spicy white pepper. Stewed plums and salted lemons give way to mature oak. FINISH: Full with lingering TOBACCO and PEANUT BRITTLE.
