Winemaking notes
The grapes used are 100% pure Sangiovese. The production involves the use of the traditional fermentation method, aging for at least 4 years, of which at least 2 spent in oak barrels. Then refining for 4 months in the bottle. The alcoholic degree reached is 13 volumes, maximum 14 volume percentages. Valuable aging capacity that even reaches 20 years and beyond.
Viticultural notes
This Brunello di Montalcino reserve, from the Altesino di Toscana house is the ambassador of the high quality of Italian oenology in the world, it was the first wine to obtain DOCG recognition.
Tasting notes
Brunello has a bright ruby red color, tending to garnet with age. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasant and refined aromas that start with notes of violets, violets, tobacco, chocolate and pleasant hints of undergrowth and vanilla. In the mouth, it has an excellent match with the nose, a well-balanced attack, a full body, good tannins and an important texture.
