Winemaking notes
Grapes are gently pressed before barrel-fermentation in new French oak with selected yeasts. A further 4 months of ageing on its finest lees with frequent racking in American oak, French oak and acacia wood casks. This careful process delivers a wine of creamy texture and refined aromatic complexity.
Viticultural notes
100% Tempranillo Blanco from low-yield vines on the north and northeast slopes of Viana (DOCa Rioja), at 520–690 m elevation. Sand, gravel, clay, chalk and limestone soils produce small, concentrated berries. The Sierra Cantabria shelters the vines from cold northern winds, ensuring a slow, aromatic ripening season.
Tasting notes
Pale straw with bright highlights. The nose is delicate and elegant: white flowers, green apple and pear with subtle stone fruit and wet stone nuances. The palate is fresh and firm, with a creamy texture beautifully balanced by crisp acidity. The finish is long and mouthwatering.
Pairing notes
Serve between 10–12 °C. Pairs beautifully with flavourful fish (salmon, tuna), shellfish, mushroom dishes, roast poultry and aged cheeses. Its creamy texture and vibrant acidity also make it an excellent aperitif wine.
