The berries are fermented via different means, depending on the nuances and qualities inherent to a specific plot. In order to preserve the wine's fruity exuberance, it is bottled within one year of the harvest.

We cultivate a selection of superior parcels in the Cariñena district of Aragon, planted at between 350 and 700 meters above sea level. The high volume of old bush vines allows us to harvest very ripe and healthy grapes, packed full of phenolic compounds. Diurnal temperature variation is also a vital part of the quality equation: stark differences between day and nighttime temperature helps to maintain acidity in the grapes.

The wine offers a deep crimson colour and aromas of plum, blackberry and redcurrant. It delivers ample richness, revealing lush dark fruit on the mid-palate. Yet the finish is elegant.

This wine would cut through tomato based pasta dishes with aplomb.
