Fermented in stainless steel tanks for 30 days at a controlled 28–30 ºC to preserve purity of fruit, then matured for 14 months in American oak barrels, gaining structure, depth and refined complexity.

The first edition of 8.0.1 was crafted in 2004 to mark the winery’s 60th anniversary, from a limited selection of Cabernet Sauvignon 1998, Merlot 2000 and Syrah 2001. Since then, the estate has chosen to maintain a limited production of this elegant signature wine, selecting different vintages for each variety.

To the eye, an intense cherry-red color, well covered, with garnet edges and violet tones. On the nose, it reveals elegant and intense aromas of ripe fruit and spices, enriched by roasted notes over a balsamic background. On the palate, it is structured, flavorful and powerful, with fine, smooth and balanced tannins. Broad and generous, it lingers with an elegant finish.
