Monte Real Crianza

Classical vinification with destalked, crushed grapes, using new fermentation technology, with a long maceration period in order to achieve greater extraction. Aged for 18 months in new American oak casks with appropriately-timed rackings. Aged in the bottle for at least 6 months before being put on the market.

100% Tempranillo. Bodegas Riojanas controls more than 100 hectares. From the best vineyards on clay-limestone in Cenicero, San Vicente de la Sonsierra and nearby towns. The quintessential grape in Rioja is Tempranillo, but Bodegas Riojanas also has one of the largest areas dedicated to Mazuelo and Graciano within the denomination, varieties that provide greater personality to their wines.

From a sensorial point of view, Monte Real Crianza follows the style demanded by today´s consumers: more colour, more fruity and more potency. Intense colour, delicate fresh aromas that maintain the fruitiness and expression of the grape variety and the terroir, beautifully blending with ageing notes in harmony and balance. In the mouth, its body and potency are perfectly offset by the smoothness and elegance typical of great Riojas.
