Winemaking notes
This Vermentino is produced from 100% Vermentino grapes from the Maremma Toscana DOC appellation. After vinification, the wine is aged for 4 months on the lees, which contributes to its complexity and texture. It then undergoes a minimum of 2 months of bottle ageing before release.
Viticultural notes
The vineyards are located in Poggio la Mozza, Grosseto, at an altitude of 150 metres above sea level. The estate is organically certified. The soils are composed of sandstone rich in weathered rock, contributing to the mineral expression of the grape variety. Vine density is 5,000 vines per hectare, with a yield of 10 tonnes per hectare. The vines are trained using the Guyot system. The 2025 vintage benefited from optimal climatic balance, with a rainy spring ensuring good water supply, a cool summer with intermittent rainfall, and significant day–night temperature variations, allowing for a slow and even ripening of the grapes.
Tasting notes
The Vermentino 2025 displays a straw-yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose reveals intense and elegant aromas of cedar zest, elderflower, and hawthorn. On the palate, the wine offers bright freshness, supported by a pronounced savoury character and excellent aromatic persistence.
