Winemaking notes
Grown on 7 hectares of Miocene marine molasse topped with alpine rolled galets, grapes are hand-harvested in crates and pneumatically pressed after settling. Fermentation takes place 30% in oak barrels and 70% in stainless steel tanks, followed by 8 months of ageing in the same proportions — a precise method that preserves the purity and elegance that define Beaucastel's great whites.
Viticultural notes
80% Roussanne, complemented by Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Bourboulenc and Picardan. Vines grown on an exceptional terroir within the AOP Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The 2024 vintage, shaped by a wet spring and a moderate summer, allowed for slow, aromatic ripening, producing wines of great freshness and fine balance. Certified organic and biodynamic farming.
Tasting notes
Elegant, clear and luminous gold. The nose offers refined floral notes — white flowers, white peach and citrus — with a touch of honey and distinctive minerality. The palate is broad, silky and beautifully balanced, supported by fresh acidity and a round, supple texture. The finish is long, saline and delicately bitter — the signature of Beaucastel Blanc at its finest.
Pairing notes
Serve between 12–14 °C. Decant briefly if young. Pairs beautifully with lobster, scallops, cream-based poultry dishes, pan-seared foie gras or soft-rind cheeses. Ageing potential of 10 to 15 years.
