Winemaking notes
NEARCO is vinified with these grapes, assembled with knowledge and aged for eighteen months in noble oak barrels: a new wine of great impact and structure, where the softness of the Merlot is married perfectly with the power of the Cabernet and the spicy fruit of the Syrah.
Viticultural notes
The Mediterranean climate, the Montalcino “terroir”, the nobility of Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah, the knowledge and the passion of those who have been looking after vineyards and producing wine ever since. This is how Nearco was born. On the gentle southern hillsides of Montalcino, embedded in the middle of austere Brunello vineyards, one can find the plots dedicated to the great international varieties that made the Tuscan reds so famous.
Tasting notes
95 Points James Suckling 2015 Vintage - A wine with dried violets, burnt blackberry essence, charcoal, treacle, resin and baking spices. Full body, very chewy tannins and a long, very decadent finish. Best in a long time. It needs time though.
