Winemaking notes
The 2024 vintage was shaped by a mild, gently rainy spring followed by a hot, dry summer with refreshing cool nights. This slow and even ripening produced healthy, well-balanced grapes of remarkable aromatic finesse. Vinification conducted to the exacting standards of Domaines Ott, prioritising elegance, aromatic precision and ageing potential in every bottle.
Viticultural notes
A blend of 60% Mourvèdre, 20% Cinsault and 20% Grenache from 90 hectares spread across the eight communes of the Bandol appellation. Marl and limestone soils particularly well-suited to Mourvèdre. Two complementary terroir profiles: valley plots yield juicier, crunchier fruit; hillside terraced plots (restanques) deliver greater body and structure.
Tasting notes
Peach-toned with subtly copper highlights — a picture of Provençal elegance. The nose is enveloping and intense: citrus, passion fruit and floral nuances unfold with generous aromatic depth. The palate is broad and savoury, lifted by fresh mandarin and a subtle touch of Sichuan red pepper. The finish is dense and persistent, underscored by delicate pomelo notes.
Pairing notes
Serve between 10–12 °C. A gastronomic rosé that shines alongside grilled fish, shellfish, bouillabaisse, Provençal cuisine, white meats and lightly spiced dishes. Equally powerful and refined — enjoyable now or cellared for 3 to 5 years.
