Winemaking notes
Harvest took place in April. Grapes were picked in 500 kg bins. On reception, clusters were destemmed. Cold maceration and saignée method followed. Fermentation on selected yeast at controlled temperature of 27 °C. Natural malolactic fermentation. Lengthy maceration, aging during 12 months in French oak barrels.
Viticultural notes
Cultivated in the main area of the winegrowing oasis of El Peral, Tupungato, Mendoza. Altitude: 1200 meters above sea level. TERROIR CHARACTERISTICS High quality wines thanks to the alluvial soils and the good temperature range between day and night time
Tasting notes
Purplish wine with deep blue hints. Exquisite combination of plums and strawberries, mixed with vanilla and chocolate aromas from its oak aging. Soft tannins matching the silky entrance and lingering finish
