Winemaking notes
Aged for 18 months in 100% new French (Taransaud) oak barrels. Bottled in December 2016, unfined and unfiltered.
Viticultural notes
Marchiori Estate. 3,264 feet (995 meters). Cane pruned vineyard. Traditional furrow irrigation. Well-developed radical system among all the profile. This wine comes from block C2, from old vines 80 years and older.
Tasting notes
Deep crimson with violet hues. The nose shows notes of tobacco, black and red fruits, quince, white pepper and clove. The palate is complex and elegant, with silky tannins that lead to a long, intense finish.
