Viticultural notes
Marchiori Vineyard. Located at high altitude, the vineyard is cane pruned with traditional furrow irrigation. The wine comes from 18-year-old Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted at 3,270 feet(996 meters)and Malbec vines over 80 years old, planted at 3,264 feet (995 meters).
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red in color with aromas of red fruits, licorice, lead, gunpowder, pepper, and chocolate. A subtle hint of spearmint complements the aromatic profile with freshness and elegance. In the mouth, flavors of red fruits, licorice and marmalade develop alongside a particularly mineral texture and linger on an intense finish.
