Winemaking notes
The grapes undergo manual bunch selection prior to vinification. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. A spontaneous malolactic fermentation occurs in 7% of the wine. The wine is then aged for 6 months, with 7% matured in French oak barrels. The final blend is 100% Chardonnay
Viticultural notes
The vineyards are located in Mendoza, in the Uco Valley, at altitudes ranging from 950 to 1,400 metres. The soils are stony, with variable limestone content, low organic matter, and excellent drainage.
The 2022 vintage was marked by a cool summer, allowing for gradual ripening. White varieties were affected by heavy rainfall in February, requiring strict bunch selection to ensure optimal grape quality.
Tasting notes
A light yellow color with green hues. The nose is fruity, expressing tropical aromas such as mango, pineapple, and citrus. The palate stands out with green apple, peach, and subtle notes of vanilla. It is a fresh Chardonnay with good structure and persistence.
Pairing notes
Serve ideally between 10 and 12 °C. This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with grilled or lightly sauced fish, seafood, roasted or cream-based poultry dishes, as well as pasta with vegetables or mild cheeses. It also complements soft cheeses such as brie or camembert.
