Born into a winemaking family in Piedmont, Italy, Pascual Toso went to Mendoza, Argentina in 1880 and founded the winery 10 years later in 1890. Now in its 130th Anniversary year, Bodegas y Vinedos Pascual Toso remains one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Argentina and Pascual Toso’s winemaking philosophy of “Passion, Tradition and Innovation” continues to be central to the way the wines are crafted.

'LA BARRANCAS’ REGION

The Pascual Toso portfolio ranges from elegant sparkling wines and chardonnays through to rich Malbecs and Cabernet Sauvignons; all the wines are single vineyard from the 400 hectares in ‘La Barrancas’ (meaning ‘Small Canyon’) area of Maipu.

COMPLEX ELEGANT WINES

COMPLEX ELEGANT WINES

Sitting at the foot of the Andes, the high daytime and low night time temperatures and stony soils bring out the maximum expression of the fruit, creating beautifully rounded and complex wines that are easy to drink and a delight to pair with food.

THE WINEMAKERS

Pascual Toso’s consultant winemaker is Paul Hobbs (ex-Opus One) and Felipe Stahlschmidt and they use vines of 60 and 100 years old to create these award winning wines. All the wines are over 90 points from James Suckling.
