The Berton Vineyard Metal Range takes stand alone varietals to make something exceptional. Australian Shiraz has forged an enviable reputation for huge unrestrained flavours that are exemplified by this wine. A dry, full bodied wine, best consumed within 2 years, however our Black Shiraz is made to withstand 5-10 years cellaring.
Tasting notes
The Black Shiraz is a bold example of Australian Shiraz with deep colour and aromas of blackberry and plum over toasty vanillin and spicy oak. The palate is full flavoured and intense with rich plum, blueberry and mocha notes. The tannins are ripe and dense giving great structure and length to the palate.
