Viticultural notes
Located northwest of Pomerol, Château de Sales is a historic property on the right bank of Bordeaux, owned by the same family for over five centuries. Today, the Lambert heirs and their children oversee the destiny of this iconic estate. Covering an area of 47.60 hectares, the Château de Sales vineyard is the largest in the Pomerol appellation.
Tasting notes
Château de Sales 2020 is probably one of the finest vintages ever produced by the estate. With great purity, power, and charm, Château de Sales 2020 shows perfect maturity, balance, freshness, and precision through to a very persistent finish. The fruit is both rich and concentrated, with a silky mouthfeel thanks in particular to beautifully defined tannins.
