Winemaking notes
The grapes are harvested at optimum maturity in the cooler hours of the day to preserve the flavors, freshness and aromas. Each grape variety is vinified individually at low temperature following a pre-fermentation/maceration. The wines are then racked off and the different grape varieties are blended. A short ageing in vats before early bottling in December to preserve the fresh, youthful fruit components. Vegan Friendly.
Viticultural notes
CÔTES DE PROVENCE When you set foot among the vines, a holiday feeling floats through the air. This is assuredly why the grapes there are so gorgeous and its wines so delicious. As a general rule, the soil of wine-making Provence is poor, but well-drained. This shallow land, with no excess humidity, is ideal for the typically Mediterranean plant that is the grapevine. Located in Provence (South-East France), at the foot of the Mount Sainte-Victoire, the vines are leveled into ‘‘espalies’’ on a calcareous clay soil. They benefit from a moderate altitude (300m) and temperate Mediterranean climate (sunny, dry and warm). Black Grenache 60%, Syrah 25% and Cinsault 15%.
Tasting notes
Elegant petal rose colour. Aromas of small red fruits and citrus. Lively mouthfeel with sweet English candy flavours.
Pairing notes
Serve chilled, between 10-12°C (50° F and 60° F) . Best enjoyed while fresh and vibrant, today and up to 2 years of age. It matches perfectly with summer lunch, melon with ham, salads, cold cuts, grilled white meat, pizza or tapas. Also delicious with Mediterranean, Oriental or Asian cuisine. Enjoy it on its own all year round!
